Eligibility Criteria & Information:
To ensure the highest standards of digital security, the Ministry has set specific criteria for each role. Below is the detailed information regarding education, experience, and other requirements.
1. Assistant Director - Data Recovery (PPS-09)
Education: MCS, MIT, BSSE, BSCE, BSCS, or BSIT (16 years of education) from an HEC recognized university.
Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in data backup, disaster recovery, and storage management. Expertise in SQL and database architecture is highly preferred.
Age Limit: 25–35 years (plus general age relaxation as per Govt rules).
Gender: Male and Female are both eligible.
Key Responsibilities: Managing data recovery protocols, ensuring zero data loss during system failures, and implementing cloud-based backup solutions.
2. System / Network Penetration Tester (PPS-07)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or IT (16 years of education).
Experience: 2-4 years in ethical hacking, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing (VAPT). Certifications like CEH, OSCP, or CISSP will be a major advantage.
Age Limit: 22–30 years.
Gender: Open to all genders.
Key Skills: Deep knowledge of Kali Linux, Metasploit, Wireshark, and network security protocols.
3. Data Center Technician - Power (PPS-05)
Education: DAE (Electrical/Electronics) or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.
Experience: 2 years of experience in managing Data Center power infrastructure, UPS systems, and cooling units.
Age Limit: 20–28 years.
Gender: Male and Female.
Location: Primarily based at the Islamabad Data Center.
